Chinwe Onyeukwu
Chinwe Onyeukwu is Founder and Executive Director of Women Initiative for Leadership Strategy & Innovation in Africa (Women Africa). She has almost two decades progressive experience in gender and development, programme management, campaign and advocacy, and a passion for gender mainstreaming and participatory leadership in Nigeria’s democratic space. She is responsible for the vision, strategy and national fundraising for Women Africa as it expands across the country and regionally. Her goal is to see Women Africa as that organisation that brings innovative ideas towards tackling discriminatory gender practices and a recognized mobilisation platform for women’s equal involvement in national development. Chinwe holds an M.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She is the Secretary to the Board.
